Well it’s been a pretty hectic couple of months, but in amongst all the hustle, Aleksi and I still managed to get out exploring on a couple of clear nights.
We braved the crisp sub zero temperatures to make use of the clear, calm nights approaching the new moon phase.
This image is taken at Lake Alexandrina looking toward Godley peaks and the southern alps beyond.
In the northern sky the Milky Way rises above the horizon and rocks over toward the west as the night progresses.
Red air glow coloured the horizon and the perfectly still water of lake Alexandrina put on a near perfect reflection of the night sky.😍
This is a two row panorama consisting of 10 individual frames.
